The 4 Heavenly Kings

14 years ago, 4 guys came to know one another in a music room and became close friends. Back then the hottest singers were the 4 heavenly kings of Hong Kong. Being teenager and looking for identity, can't remember was it our friends or ourselves, we called ourselves the "4 Heavenly Kings".

Been thru high and low and a number challenges, never knew that we our relationship is still strong as ever. The 1st gathering was at my wedding:

Lewis Wedding

Been a busy week and got a lot to write but this is the highlight of the week. Lewis Wedding just now, 28th Sept 2007.


The best thing about weddings are you can meet up with long lost friend. Right Bing Guang and Jenny??

Really looking forward to it and very happy to see a friend of mine for 14 years to get married.

I am busy and still will be busy in the days to come....

In case some of you might wonder why I not on MSN, Facebooked less and emailed less is because I've been busy at work the past few days and going to be the same the next few weeks too.

Pray that I will be able to cope well and do my best as a worker. Will try to update when I am more free.

Anyway, had a great time just now at DG (finally we are done with Hosea!!) and spent some quality at the West Coast Macdonald's. Pics will be uploaded soon on my facebook. Watch out for them.

What we really one

People always say their stress. Stress at work, relationship, family and about ourselves. Even myself I find that at times it gets tougher for me to work at certain days. Sometime I really wonder is this wat I really want. DO you??

People talk about wanting a good life, wanna spend more time to enjoy and not waste this life time but come to think about it, sometime we work so hard to gain some things but there might be other little yet important things that might just slip away without even our knowledge. Which one might only notice maybe after sometime later or may even ask oneself "How come my life become like that? Not like before anymore?"

People tends to complicate things. Things that was suppose to be good for us yet we neglect, dun apprecaite and go in search for other seemly important things but causes more damages to us than we thought it would be beneficial to us.

I do agree with you Daniel, people can make chioces if they want to. But that's just how we people are, miss led at some point of our time our even being forced to do some stuff. But the important thing is if one have the hope, he will never be lost.

Just got to keep praying cause I wwas once like them and is still in danger of falling away. Thank God for Jesus, for Evelyn, for the brothers and sisters in Christ to spur one another on.

Think serving God and living a life pleasing to Him is a life that I really want to have. How about you??

Monday Blue

Got Monday blue again. Aimlessly hoping today will pass-by soon. Think I might as well take leave every Monday to avoid such feeling Ha Ha.!

Dinner at Gerard & Dawn's house plus sending Linette off.

Went to my father's home in the afternoon to visit them. My brother finally got internet connection at home. But a bit slow.

Went to Gerard & Dawn's house for dinner. Thanks for inviting!! Learn a few dishes from Dawn. Her cooking is fantastic man. Liang Pei and Clarissa was there too.




After dinner we managed to get to Changi Airport by 9.15pm. Why?? Cause Linette leaving for England to study. Was surprise to see Chris Chia and family there too, so happened that they came back today. Great to see them back home. Can't wait for him to be back in action.

Anyway, I might had said it before. Take good care of yourself Linette, we will miss you.

Back to BB and Dave's Wedding

Finally went to BB this Morning, happen to be the last parade for the year. Great to see Feng Peng but sad that the rest of my China boys not there. Got to leave half way cause got to attend my Army buddy's wedding, Dave, at Church of the Sacred Heart.

Talked to Albert and phone XL abt the possible future career for Eve and me. Seriously considering man

Really great to see Dave got married and see Melvin (another Army buddy, he's the brother for Dave.) Can't believe we had left CDO for 5 years man. Hope to see them in Oct for dinner and catch up.

Had a wonderful weekend, but coming back to work reminds me how many things is waiting for me to do. Wat can I say, no do no feeding leh. Need to earn my pay.

For those who are feeling like I do, press on cause I also struggling to accomplish my tasks. Can't wait for Wednesday night to come.......

Had a BBQ Farewell for Linette at Southaven II, thanks Clarissa for making it possible. Gonna miss her for 6 years. Think all of us gonna miss her.

It's never easy to go abroad to study and leave behind the people we love, both family and friends.

Will surely keep you in our prayers. Take good care of yourself sister, I promise if I fall sick I will surely go see your mum. Ha Ha.

Biggest Challenge So Far

When come to challenges, people usually link it to careers and their own dreams in life. Well, guess for both Evelyn and myself surely is the never ending house work.

When we just started to moved in, I seems to enjoy doing the house work. But as time goes by it seems harder and harder. Really got to get myself to go on and make the effort to clean up the house cause this is part of marriage.

Do pray that we can really handle our house work properly.

I am weak... very weak

Felt better today. The RS talk at the Army camp in Woodlands went well, hope that the guys will ride safe.

My bike is working again. Pray that it will not break down again....

Still feeling weak now, think Ester's medicine very powerful man....

2 days MC.... but still have to work

Got sore throat and flu. Slept till noon and abt to see doc around 2 plus and you know wat??? My bike broke down again....

It's the 4th time in 3 months, the last time was last week. Think the battery got problem.

Doc gave me 2 days mc but tomorrow can't stay home cause got a talk at army camp. Have to go, no choice. Now tomorrow go to work also got problem liao because of my bike. Pray that tomorrow will go thru smoothly.....

The Red Bomb

Very excited to receive Daniel and Cherry's "Red Bomb" today. Can't wait for their day to come man.

Do I make the right decision

Really challenged by today's sermon on whether do we ask God before we make any decision (job, studies, family and ministries). Have to admit that I did made some bad calls in my life that's why I am struggling.

Pains me to see some of my brothers and sisters struggling in their life when I see them today in Church. Will keep you guys in my prayers. Stand firm cause Jesus is always there for us.

Farewell parties

Think attending farewell parties have unknowingly become one of a culture for me as a Christian in ARPC.

Since the days in PUNJs, people going away for different reasons and till today it's still the same (be it in DG, BB, BASIC or Church). Farewell parties, at least for me as a Christian, is not just a party. Think attending it is a way of showing the relationship we have with the brothers and sisters that is leaving.

From the older people like Edmund, Chew Chen, Mark (who can forget the many many farewell we had for Marker), April, Elliot and till the recent Sarah, Sui, there is always a sense of "Yi Yi Bu She".

Finally, my very own Saturday

Never had a Saturday that really belongs to Evelyn and myself. Not really feeling well, think the flu bug gonna "completely rule over" me soon. Stayed home to 3 plus and went for lunch.

Almost went to watch "881" but again, didn't really recover so decided to head home. Actually should be Eve's home.

Got home by 7pm. Managed to watch the Rugby World Cup 2007 between New Zealand and Italy. The All Blacks is really good loh!!!! Thou I like England, but I think the Blacks should win this time.

Got sms from Wilson around 9 pm. Bowling at CDANS.

Didn't play, just wanna spend time talking to him and Hui Fen. Talk abt our live and abt the upcoming weddings (Lewis wan and Hui Ming's). And of course talk abt baby.


Wilson sharing he will faint if Hui Fen gonna give birth, he scared of bxxxd. Ha Ha

我的朋友我的同学我最爱的一切

Has been a tired week. Work starts to come and finding hard to plan my time properly for work, family, DG, BB and my own time with God. Thankful that the brothers and sisters on Wednesday and Thursday night have been encouraging.

Got the CD "我的朋友我的同学我最爱的一切" by 吴庆康 this week. Been wanting to have this song for ages. Hearing it over and over again reminds me of the worry free days of young. Now I really miss my school days. Friends during Sec. days are getting married. The thought of marriage never really occur to our minds 14 years ago. How time flies man.

Of course not saying I regretted what I am now. Really thank God for being there in my life over the years. Can't wait to attend all the weddings of our friends, brothers and sisters.

Anyway, it's Friday again. Time to take a break.

Monthly BB Officer Meeting

The officers from Si Ling Sec meet up monthly to catch up and pray for one another. Every month we will go to different officers place. This month, it's my turn to host them.

Radio still good...

Was abt to fall a sleep last night (or should I say this Morning) and happen to notice this little Tiger Beer mini clock cum radio by the bed side. Decided to turn it on and out came an oldie from the 90's. The station is "九三三".

Almost forgot "九三三" used to be my favourite station (think it's the same for most of you). The station plays a big part in why I love to "K". Used to remember how I would standby by the radio and wait for the latest songs of 刘德华 and 张学友. Then I would record their songs on tape (Yes, tape. That time can't afford CD) and I would keep playing and repeat verse by verse until I can memorise the whole song.

With MP3 on hand phone now, I almost forgot the wonderful time I used to have before the radio (of course there are much important things to do now). Think this just goes to show how relax and enjoyable my teenage days were. No worries of not enough money for my daily needs or cracking my head thinking of how to make my weekend happening. Just simply stayed at home and have "In House KTV". Those were the days.

Just happy to be at home

Been quite tired the past week, only got myself to blame cause not been sleeping early. Had a great time with the "TAKA" guys ths afternoon, my DG group during Church. Thou not all of them came, but it's just great to talk to one another over some snacks. Thanks guys.

Took a nap(slept from 7pm to 9pm) and now just sitting in my living room, resting. There's no place like home.

People come, people go...

The event on Saturday went well. Thank God only need to work half day. The event also mark the last event (I think) for one of my colleague, Koh Pee Teck. Just in case you wonder, he is gonna retire soon.

Retirement seems far for me but at the same time seems real, especially when someone you are very close with is going thru it. Thou only knew him for 2 and a half years, but the good (and also bad) times we been thru together really bring us closer. Think I speak this on behalf of everyone in my office.

Went to Kbox at AMK from 7pm till 1am(SHIOK Man!!!), thou Koh didn't sing much but think he truly enjoyed the session. Thanks Koh, for the great help you have offer the past few years....
