All I want for the new year is....

Rest. Good time to rest.

The month of Dec and year 2009 is coming to it's last day and I am still exhausted. Other than recovering for the previous busy schedule we are having our family chalet. Amos teething leading him to high fever and discomfort made both Eve and myself super tired.

The fever has gone but last night was no easy night. He kept crying on and off and finally slept peacefully only at around 6am. How I wish he can sleep peacefully like how he did this morning before I went to work. Pray that he will recover soon.

I will miss 2009 cause I am thankful to the Lord that I have learnt a lot and come to realise many things also.

Pray that next year will be just as eventful if not more fulfilling.

Praise the Lord for everything.

Life is worth celebrating

Sometime I can easily forget to be grateful towatrds God for how He has bless my life.

Was just reading Grace's latest entry and it led me to another person's blog on how she have survive a plan crash and how she live her life with thankfulness, the many activities and celebration in life.

One thing I am gonna to do next year is to be really thankful to the Lord. Looking back this year I can say I am not really living my life that pleases the Big One because there are times that I should be grateful yet I became very negative.

Looking forward to celebrate every precious moment with my loved ones in the new year and see how it goes from there.

All in all thank God for Jesus. Pray that all of us will live our lives to the fullest.

Live a life of joy and celebration for the day is near. Life is worth celebrating, praise the Lord.

The people I missed on 13 Dec 2009

Missed the Christmas gathering this year at Wilson's place due to the camp.

Hope to meet them sometime soon. Looks like the group is growing every time we meet man.

Happy without me.

Simply exhausted

Think for the first time I am really exhausted in the month of December. Mainly because of the Combined Camp, various campaigns, weekend talks and also parenting (which is the best of all things!!) thus there are a number of events that I find it hard to pen down (like my Stand Chat run, the BASIC Camp and many other things).

Am I not using my time fully last year that's why I can blog so much? I can't say for certain but I am grateful that I am able to use my time to do the things I have done, especially the last few months.

Thou I am not able to take block leave due to a number of admin work need to be done in office, but I am thankful for the holidays and the 1,2 days leave I am able to take.

Did I mentioned that I will be missing the Year End Dinner due to the year end deployment? Gonna miss the Year End Dinner but thank God that almost all the seats are filled up.

Not sure if I have ever mentioned but one thing I missed the most is the bible studies. I still struggle to set time regularly to read God's word and it is always during this period that I fail my wife in many areas.

Pray that God will keep watch over us, that we are regular in praying and reading His word constantly, as we continue to live our lives for Him in the new year.

Congrats Melvin

Attended my Army friend's wedding last night. The food was okay, the parking was limited (have to park else where) and the service was only so so but what makes it an enjoyable wan was the company.

Though the rest of the guys are not from my platoon but really enjoyed their company. It's been a long time that I am able to chat with almost everyone and laugh over almost every conversation (which is why I stayed until 11pm).

Pray that there will be chance to share Christ in the future.

Making Your Life Count

Praise the Lord for the youths that turn out for the camp to hear God's word.

Praise the Lord for the church members that step up to teach the living word to the campers.

Praise the Lord for the officers' tireless effort in reaching out to the youths.

Praise the Lord for the many others who have play a role in making this camp possible.

Pray that all of us will make our life count for the Lord in the many years to come.

God never change

Been handling a number of things and many events going on in the last few weeks like campaigns lah, camp planning lah, Amos falling sick and Evelyn's little discomfort due to our little girl.

As much as I want to be a good witness but there are still times that I find myself not up to the mark. But I can take heart that one thing that never change, God.

Praise the Lord for His word which is the light to guide our way.

Feeling lousy lately? Or simply frustrated with things around you lately? Try asking God for help, thru prayer and reading of His word, and He will surely help.

Peace to all who trust in Jesus Christ.

Also thank God for bringing our brothers and sisters safely back from the Israel trip.
