Looking back 26th May 2007. Entry 2: Where's my driver??

This wan think Daniel remember. You see the car on the left?? It rained the night before. So as Daniel and I were approaching the bridal van, we notice the van was wet. The 1st thing that came to our mind were to joke with Yew Minh:" Where's the driver?? Never clean the van!!!"

Ha ha!!! Yew Minh didn't hear it as he was at the other side of the carpark. Being our funny selves, we continue to joke about this for a while. Of course my driver of the day didn't wipe the whole van. We are very loving brothers...

Looking back 26th May 2007. Entry 1: Darren went to the wrong car.

For the regulars, you would remember that I ever promised to update abt my wedding on the blog but I didn't. So I decided to do a random entry where by as I look back at the pics, I will share on the story behind the pics.

This boy is Darren, cousin of Evelyn. He was suppose to open the door for me. As Don was also driving the same type, same model which I was in, Darren went to the wrong van. Thanks to Yew Minh for reminding him. Ha ha!!

He also forget to bring the oranges down, this is part of the things we do during Chinese wedding of the opening of the car door.

Sad love songs still the best.

Maybe it's just me. Thou I am not facing any problem in my relationship, I still enjoy and love sad love songs. Got the "feeling ah" when listening to them.

Now on my top list are '背叛', '想太多' and '男人KTV'. Wonder when will I have the chance to K again....

From '男人KTV' :"没有歌 怎敢说心事 受了伤 始终怕别人知 我和你吻别 在无人的街 张学友唱 出我的情节".

After 27 years....

Can't remember the 1st time I got my Ang Bao from CNY cause I must still just a baby (most likely 6 to 7 months old only). This year is the 1st time I have to give as an adult. Like in my 1st few entries, this is part of the marriage. So please be prepared.

Feels different, cause like I kind of can decide where to go (of course still must follow my parents and in-laws to our grandparents).

When I was young (and I think same goes to those who read this) I always look forward to receiving Ang Baos. Think I have been given the wrong idea abt CNY cause really apart from the Ang Bao thing, CNY really is a time for gathering relatives and friends for fellowship and catch with one another, especially those we fail to make the effort to meet up or try to "siam".

Think the 1st thing I must teach Amos about CNY is that it's not about the Ang Bao, but the fellowship with our relatives and friends that we meet during this wonderful season.

It's only the last few years than I start to understand that Ang Bao is not the focus during CNY, it's the people. How did we forget about this in the 1st place??? Money or relationship??? Not too late to change our mindset....

Can we live without our laptop

One of the reasons why I haven't been regular on my updates is because my laptop is down. Still can use, but can smell burning rubber from the power cable connection point at my laptop.

After advice from Nic, decided not to use it until he take a look at it. Thank God for brother like him who is ever ready to help.

Felt really helpless without the laptop, when we are now in a world that the pace is so fast that we need to use things like Facebook and Blogs to get connected with people. I still love to meet up with people.

As promised, specially to AL, will try to load the pics from last week asap. Better load them before Amos come.

Still thinking for a Chinese name for him. Confirm not Liang Wei......
