End The Sunday at IKEA
After sending Belle home, who stayed at Pasir Ris, we went to the IKEA at Tampines to meet Daniel and Cherry around 9.20pm. Had some meat balls & had a nice catch up. This is actually the 2nd time Dainel, Cherry, Eve and myself were at IKEA together. The last time was months back, before I got married, at Queensway. Thanks Cherry for reminding me.
Talk abt the possible furnitures that we can get for our own houses and had a great time of brain storming, although Cherry is brain dead liao by then. Brought some frozen meatballs back and how can we leave the place without taking any pics before we leave?! (wHOSE THAT MAN IN BLUE!!??)
Yes, is our fellow Gerard & Dawn. They are buying some blinds for their kitchen. The husband say scared the wife kana sunburn while doing Hse work in the kitchen. So thoughtful of you Gerard.
We spotted a cute van before leaving. Reminds us of "Beauty and the Beast"!!!!!

Durian Durian!!! Finally!!!
Pray for our Korean brothers & sisters
Should be sleeping by now, but can't set my mind after hearing the news on the death of one of the Koreans killed by the Taliban militants.
Though I know Korean brothers & sisters have already been saved thru Christ, and our fellow brother is now with our God, I still am worried about their safety and how much more would they suffer.
Really thank God that now I have a bed to rest peacefully.
If you are reading and you are also a brother or sister in Christ, I ask of you to pray for our Korean brothers & sisters that they will continue to hold on to their faith in Christ. Forgive the Taliban militants for they know not what their doing, pray for salvation that they may one day come to know Christ and repent on what they have done today.

The food of all food.... at least for this night
Dinner at Albert & Pris' House 2
Dinner at Albert & Pris' House
Think Sunday was a day of food.
Had dinner at Albert & Pris' house:
It's nice to have a simple dinner and talk about things. We also have a performance from Daniel, how to de-bone a chicken:
Tools to use, fork & knife (Cherry watching over the Master Chef)
The fastest hands around!!!
It is done. Only bones on the plate. (Pris was so amazed)
Quote of the night:
Some say eat chicken skin and you will be fat.
So- Chicken Skin = Fat
Some say they become fat because they eat too much ice-cream:
So- Fat = Ice-Cream
Hmmmm.... Then it should be:
Chicken Skin = Fat = Ice-Cream
Chicken Skin = Ice-Cream !!!!!!!

Great lunch after so long
How does one determine a great lunch?
The place or the food?
Well what ever foods or places, it is still the people that matters. Thanks Danny & Audrey for the "Cook & Fry" treat yesterday afternoon after the service. The lunch was at the S11 behind Junction 8.
My wife & myself was a bit late. Sat on the table with Ruth, XL, Paul, Cherry, Daniel and Marilyn. It's been quite awhile since the few of us sat on the same table having a meal (think the last time should be at Alexander Hawker Centre for Alex's Farewell) & nothing beats spending time with people we know very well.
Is the type of relationship we share that we can talk and joke almost anything under the sun, like our part time Marilyn gave a sharing on the "What Food Not To Eat" for "P.W" and most notable was Paul's new meaning for "1st Semester", Ha Ha!!!
How I miss such gatherings. Used to be a norm few years back every Saturday nights when we were still in PUNJ. Guess it's not been easy for everyone as time seems to be shorter and shorter as we grow older. Thanks for the great time guys. Next stop where shall we go, Ruth any suggestions???

Mizuno Run 2007
Not really into running and to be honest, sign up due to the Mizuno Singlet. Woke up at 5.30am and suppose to start running at 7.30am. But Eve's not feeling well so didn't run in the end. Cherry, Daniel, Ruth, Hanniel and Tat Hong was there. Hanniel really can run man.
Quite a number of things happen and in short, dun think I will even join any Mizuno in the future. The planning is bad...
Well in the end, I still get my Mizuno Singlet and a new Mizuno Shoe Bag!!! And of course some breakfast.....
.............................Chicken Drum-stick!!! One for $2.50/-!!!!................................

We've got mail....
When is the last time someone send you a postcard. My wife and I did. We got this postcard yesterday.
This is from Sin Ee, whose doing full time in Taiwan. We were there for our honey moon last June and intend to visit her but were unable to thanks to the train there.
It's really great when you receive emails from friends more than letters, other than wedding cards. Will pray for you Sin Ee, will surely visit the next time we are there.
Been Very Busy.....
A very busy week, a lot of things on my mind. Those people will know when they don't get emails from me means that I am busy at work. Maybe that explains why people don't reply emails. Either no time to read or no time to reply.
Thou busy but still enjoy the workshop held at SBC the past 2 nights. It's really great to be able to find peace in the gathering of Christ people. Hope to see my brothers and sisters tonight, and of course my wife.

Ahlong like this song: 思念是一種病
After so long, this surely is one of his better album since the "秘密基地", but "愛我別走" still nicer.
Here's the lyrics, but it's better if you can listen to the track:

Not Well
I am not well, but more for my wife. She was okay the whole day until we were about to attend the workshop at SBC. The speaker really gave a very clear idea abt the OT book. Pray that the sermons will be available online.
Didn't sit thru everything cause had to bring her back home to rest. My poor darling....

Happening Weekend
My notebook was down the whole weekend cause my AC adapter was damaged.
Friday night:
Went for a dinner function at the Rice Table near Centrepoint, can't eat as much as before liao. Then went to HMV to get some show to watch with my wife. One like action and horror while the other prefer romance and ... still romance. So in the end, got something we both like:
I dun know about you but I feel that The Muppet Show is still one of the best show around.
Long live the Muppets!!
Saturday:
Rush down to city to buy my AC adapter before reporting for my NDP duty. This week was the latest loh. Stand down nearly 11pm. Fell sick man. Next week still got one more round.....
Sunday:
A very busy Sunday. Gonna rush around to do some recee after service but nothing beats hearing the testimony of Luke during BASIC. Thank God for working in his life.
Today:
Super dead. Woke up at 7.15am and "FLY" all the way to a school in Tampines for a talk. Got sore throat some more. Afterwards felt sleepy thru out the day. Gonna visit my favorite doctor tomorrow liao. Looking forward to the workshop on Wednesday....

"把悲伤留给自己"...... Only memories......
Me 悲伤?? No No, dun worry. Am listening to 陈升's "把悲伤留给自己" in the office before I leave. Suddenly bring back some of my old memories in my Sec School days. Some sad but mostly happy ones. Still remember then used to on and off sing in the class room, classmate from "cannot take it liao!!" until "take it away Long!!".
Maybe that's why I love KTV, not saying I wish I am still in my old days but when I sing the songs that were hot back then give me a feeling of the unforgetable moments with my friends. Makes me feel like going back to the Good Secondary School Days ... Maybe it's just me.

In memory of Jia Jia & the long gone Yuki
Brought Evelyn to see doctor this afternoon in Jurong. Went to my parents home to pick up some stuffs and Evelyn saw this:
In case you don't know, this is the hamster cage at my parents home. My mom took care of the hamsters of Evelyn whom she got it from her students 3 years ago.
For your info, Yuki had past away few months back and our last hamster Jia Jia just past away on Monday. Called my mom and she said the last time my brother saw Jia Jia on Monday morning, before he went to school, he was still eating. When he came home in the afternoon, Jia Jia was not moving any more.
My mom didn't wanna let Evelyn know, worried that it will upset her. The last time when Yuki past away, the Vet said hamsters usually live for about 3 years. So for Jia Jia, we kind of excepted it.
The pic on the left is the small house we brought for them, which Yuki loves to sleep in it. The one on the right is their water bottle.
This is the merry-go-round, Jia Jia's favorite. He always like to run very fast and then will suddenly lay on it and let it rock him. This is also his bed. The pic on the right is their master piece. They like biting it.
Kind of miss them. It's seems like just yesterday where Daniel and co. came to my house on CNY and I still remember XL playing with them. Boy I miss them. Maybe next time will post their pics and video......

Time Time Time....
Isn't it funny that God gave us 24 hours a day and yet at times we can't seems to finish our tasks or we don't have enough time to use. Some will going around complaining to others, where most of the time what we want is the listening ears to agree with us, or just tell ourselves since we can't finish on time than might as well don't do. At least that's what comes to my mind.
But deep inside me I know that no matter what, it's still 24hrs I have. Nothing more, nothing less. What matters is how we make full use of it, and use it wisely.
There's gonna be a lot of things coming up for my wife and myself. Seriously pray that no matter what comes at us we will always put Him in the 1st place. And this is my prayer for all my dearest brothers and sisters.
Time may be hard, but don't lose faith....

When you think you can finally rest.....
Had quite a long day. Prayer meeting with Aaron, Tat Hong, Danny, Audrey, Ruth, Julianna, Yi Ling and my wife in the morning, attend the 2nd service, prayed with the prayer team from ARPC, meet up the BASIC members (by the way, April is back!!), went Bukit Panjang Plaza buy some stuff and by the time we got home, it's closed to 4 liao!!!
Finally when we managed to take a nap, my mom called me and say that my grandfather is admitted to hospital. Though we were tired but still managed to drag ourselves out of bed to see him.
The Doc say the heart is only 25% functional, pray that he will be fine. Still quite worried tho...

Don't go out on Saturday
Nothing special, just reminding my friends for the next few Saturday, Marina Bay will be having the NDP Rehearsal. The roads will be block and jam every where. How I know, well you know my occupation.
Though is my 2nd week being deployed, I actually enjoyed the work. Maybe it's due to my office base work that's why it feels great working outside.
Today is the so call "Seven day, Seven month, Seven Year" and there is 777 couples getting married today on the 7th of July. I felt bad for those who held their weddings around that area. Knowing the road blocks around, most of the guests were lost!! Cause the usual entrance were block. Can imagine have the couples would feel, the places there don't come cheap.
Though tired, I quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to next week.

Mom is the Greatest!!!
My parents visited me this morning (though my entry is in the early hours of 8th July, you reading should be smart enough to know that it's the 7th morning). You never know how great your mom is until you have to do house work yourself.
My spare room was like my 2nd storeroom cause since after my wedding, all the gifts were put in the room, everywhere. And my mom tidy it within half an hour! Thanks mom.

It's Dinner Time!!!
Guess what I did tonight, COOK DINNER!!!!
Thank God that this time is much better.
Though my eggs don't look really nice, my beef kanna comment a bit like rubber, my soup... well taste GREAT and my veggie not much comment, all in all was a success!!!
It's really great being able to cook and have dinner at home. Pray that I can learn more from my parents so that I can cook many more food.
Hope that soon enough I can invite my brothers & sisters(you know who you are) to eat at the "A&E House".
