I am looking forward to Sunday.

How I wish I can jump to Sunday now. Too many things to handle for my event on Saturday. But I know the right thing to do is to trust in the Lord.

Pray that I will trust in Him and that what ever happens I will do to glorify Him.

Yes. It's on the 24 Oct, last Sat. sorry for the late post because I have been busy lately.

From a little remark from Cherry that he will be the brother of Ang Cai's wedding to the big surprise birthday party for him at room 3270.

Praise the Lord for watching over Daniel and using him for the advancement of His kingdom.

Pray that Daniel will continue to walk closely with God for the rest of his . Looking forward to his 60th birthday liao.

Don't turn away from those in need

The second half of the year have many ups and downs and to be frank, I am really overwhelmed. But I thank God that I am able to cast all my concerns and prayers to God.

Think it's human nature to avoid getting involved in problems of others cause we worried that they may take up too much of our time or it might be too heavy for us to bear.

The Lord commands us to love our neighbour. We must not be too worried to be there for others when they want us to help them. Our first instinct should always be to listen to them and commit their concerns and worries to the Lord through prayer. And whether we do something practically or to only offer them support through prayer, the Lord will guide us along the way.

The fear of committing too much or the pressure of helping others is something we should not have because we should never reject someone who is in need. Have we forgotten who saved us in our time of need? Don't be afraid if people want to look for you for help, for we know who is in control.

We will never know if we can fully help them but one thing for sure is every moment we spend with them is a chance to encourage, for fellow believers, to persevere in their faith in Christ or for them, non believers, to come to know our great God.

Simply be a witness and let God take care of the rest.

May the Lord watch over those who are burdened in their life that they may turn to the Lord for help.

Subject or Object

Don't be the subject of lust, for you will risk your relationship with God.

Don't be the object of lust, for you may cause others to stumble.

Flee from the object and don't tempt the subject.

Imitate God, for we are bought at high price, justified through our Lord Jesus.

19 weeks and 2 days. It's a girl.

Time to think of a name....

Worried about work but I have the Lord

As the campaign will be in 3 weeks time I am starting to worry as there are still a number of outstanding stuff need to be settled. I even have the thought to stay longer at work or even stay over night to do things.

Suddenly I am reminded as I was reading through a speech that I shouldn't worry for God is in control. Not saying that I am not going to do anything and wait for all the work to some how be done (actually if that can happen I dun mind) but I know myself that I didn't ask God for help as those thoughts ran through my mind.

I was thinking what I should do or how I can do more by my own strength but instead I should first pray to God for help.

I am thankful for Him that we have Him whose able to comfort, assure and provide us in ways unseen and at times unthinkable. Praise the Lord.

Pray that we will pray to our God in situations when we are tempted to worry and may he give us the wisdom and will to handle our matters. Do all things to glorify Him.

Praise be to our God.

Have a suffering friend?

I feel pain for those around me who are suffering and very much as I would like to help but sometimes in might not turn out to be the way I intended it to be.

There's a lot of things that I can do but at the sometime there's nothing much I can do also for I am just a man who have no control over things, even as much as I hope for things to turn out good.

All things are in God's hand and they happen for a purpose.

Pray for those who are suffering to continue to persevere in their faith in Jesus Christ and that God will use us to help them. Please don't give up on them.

12 long years.... Praise the Lord!!!

12 long years, that's how long it took for Roger to come to know the Lord.

Knew him in Poly and I can say we were both similar in our negative reaction when we heard God's word back then.

Didn't see him at a Poly friend's wedding dinner last Sat, which the bride happened to be TC's cousin, so I decided to ask how was him thru sms.

He replied this Morning and shared with me the good news.

Thank God for working in his life. Roger shared that one of his colleagues "watered the seeds planted by u ppl last time". Praise the Lord!!!

Never underestimate how God will work thru us to bring people to Him, whether thru our actions or prayers. He is able to turn the hardest heart around. Have faith in the Lord.

Pray that we will continue to be salt and light to the world and be witness for Christ.

Praise the Lord!!!

Amos speaks!!!!!!

"We got out of the car and have our passport checked. And little Amos sudden walked up to me and say 2 Chinese words!!!"

That was my dream last night.

Dun know why. Maybe the father think too much. Ha ha ha ha!!!!

All we need is God

Pray that we don't forget the great love of God for we can easily fall prey to the world's way of living and are in danger or drifting away.

I am ashamed of myself with things like not bringing my bible around when I go out shows how have I not ready think seriously about being ready to share God's word at all times. For there are some who long for God's word but have to wait for 30 years before they get one.

Pray for us not only to remember and say who our Lord is but also live everyday with the gratitude that we are saved by grace.

Be thankful, always. Praise the Lord!!!

What more can we ask?

It's always we who fail God. But His mercy and grace have given us hope.

Specially for you who have understood-ed and accepted the love of Christ, let not the worldly things bother you till your heart is downcast for you have already gotten the most precious gift anyone can ever give you.

What more can we ask? For we must instead ask how can we give to our Lord so that many may come to know Him.

Take comfort in His word if you are tired, for He will give you rest.

Rely on Him if you are lost for He will help you as long as you don't lean on your own understanding.

For He is the one who chooses us and take the step to rebuild what was destroyed by us.

Think of what is good, righteous and honourable that you may praise the Lord, always.

May God have mercy on people

You just can't get away from the fact that there's disasters happening around our region.

We might never know why but pray that in these times of sufferings, may people turn to the one true God that that will comfort and deliver them.
