Glorya's married!! Ya!!!

Happen to surf Facebook and saw her wedding pics. She just got married on the 21st Feb, last Sat.

We actually planned to go over for her big day but decided not to due to the financial constraint. Thou I am sad that I can't be there but I thank God for her union with Alan. It's seems like yesterday when we just went out for a durian feast and exchanging greeting (yes, just one.) with each other.

Pray that God will always be at the centre if their marriage, all the days of their lives.

My boy is 1 today

Ya, he is officially one year old today. Evelyn just found out that he got 3 teeth coming, 2 below and one on top.

Let God be 1st in your heart, not your work

Was at the Woodlands Checkpoint this morning to give out road safety leaflets to the riders entering to Singapore. One thing in common I see from them is their focus to get to their work place.

The stress and tired faces, rushing off after clearing the checks. Reminds me of what Chris shared yesterday regarding us starting our day with God. How many times did we justify our self-centered actions that because of our work we got no time for God, quiet time, or even spend very little time and that's okay? Surely not!!

Most of us when we wake up, 1st thing come to our mind is the thought of work and no time to even thank God for the day.

I am humbled that I should face each day with joy for the Lord has given it to us for His good purpose.

Pray that I can start my everyday praising God and approach it with a joyful heart.

When is the best time to drive

3.40AM. The whole PIE was clear. I can drive at 90km/hr and not brake or slow down at all. Too bad I wouldn't be driving at that time most of the time.

Amos has a mind of his own liao.

Just one day short of his birthday and I can't believe it's been a year.

How he has grown. From a baby who just laying in my arms quietly to a bigger baby that's can never stop moving!!!!

Today he had knock his head, not very serious thou, a few times and mind you he still hasn't learn how to walk yet.

Thank God for watching over him. Praise the Lord for everything.

Looking forward to teach him God's word after hearing the pastors shared their experiences this afternoon. Can't wait for him to talk man!!

My past has found me

Some people dun fancy facebook but to me it's a tool to link up with long lost friends.

My NS buddy Johnny found me!!! And thru him I found many others from my NS days!!!!

How time flies man. My be next up will be my primary school friends, hahahaha!!!

How would I plan my life if I have "X" number of days left.

Watched "The Bucket List" yesterday and one of the scene caught my attention. It shows the actors knew they had at most a year left to live thus started to wonder what are the things they can do, things they wanted most to do before they pass on. The Bucket List.

What's my bucket list? How have I plan my life? For I know who holds my life and where the One who holds me will lead me to. So plan with Him at the heart of everything.

I pray that when the time comes, and that is if it comes, that I know I have "X" number of days left I hope I would not have wasted my life.

I pray that you too may plan your life with Him at the heart of it, don't wait till it's too late.

Rare moments of peace I have in the night

Amos slept around 11 plus last night so I managed to help sometime to myself, listening to Andy Lau's cantonese CD and reading a book (Evelyn is doing her assignment).

Thank God for time that I can have a pit stop.

Btw, Evelyn said Amos laughing and clapping in his sleep last night. Maybe he dreamt about his 1st birthday party....

Where there is a need, there we should be

Sometimes I wonder the things I do is it right?

Somethings start with the good intentions but might end up with a total different outcome or respond. But all in all, He's in control.

Was telling Evelyn reason why I decided to go ahead is because there's simply just not reason to say no.

Where there is a need, there we should be.

If it's His will, let it be done.

Thanks for loving Amos for the past year

Thou as much as both Eve and myself want to, we can't invite everyone that we know to his very 1st birthday party at our house earlier due to the size of our house.

Really thank those of you who had help out, came for the party and all who had showered Amos with love in his 1st year on earth.

Please continue to pray for us as a family that we will always seek God 1st in all the things we do, cause we know the road ahead will get tougher as Amos starts to grow bigger and understand things .

And also pray for us that the 3 of us will be able to walk firmly in the footsteps of Christ as a family.

Thank you everyone, thank you God for everything.

Thank God for your help to decorate the house for Amos birthday

Thanks Daniel, Cherry, Melody, Jeremy, Evangeline and Joseph for helping to decorate the house last night for Amos 1st birthday.

Without you guys, all these will not be possible.

Thank God for being able to walk and move around

Went to SPD and QRP for filming today and saw two groups of people: the physically disabled and the inmates.

Am really thankful to God that I am able to walk and work, and at the same time my freedom is not taken away.

Pray that I will continue to trust in Him even if one day these were to happen to me.

God is good, all the time.

Video filming, no joke.

Been involved in a video filming yesterday, and will continue today. One thing I learn from this is that their timing is very very irregular. You can plan for an hour to shoot a scene and it can be extended to 2 hrs plus!!!

Along the way problems starts coming up and I was worried how should I solved it. Then as I was thinking abt solving the problem I remembered wat Evelyn told me on Wednesday night how she forgot to pray to God when things happen.

Then I realised I've been using my own ways trying to solve things, not putting God in the picture. As I started to pray to God,things started to fall back in place one at a time.

Today is the last shoot, and surely it will be longer than last night (ended 10pm yesterday). Pray that I will continue to trust in the Lord in this aspect and all other things that I do.

May you too continue to trust in Lord, especially when you face difficulties, not relying on your own strength but in Him whose able to make things possible.

PP DG Retreat at City Beach Resort

Thank God for the PP DG retreat over the weekend. Think this is one that many has been waiting for a long time.



Let's continue to encourage one another in our walk thru God's word.

SMS, good or bad??

I had mentioned this before in my past post and one of my sister brought up this point on not replying smses.

We all will wonder when someone dun reply our smses, wondering what's their attitude towards us. Miss it? No time to reply? Lost ur contact? Or just dun bother?

Well that's what technology do to us. It's so easy to reach people yet easy to shut people out. Guess if the message is delivered to them by speech, face to face, it would surely be a different thing, at least we still will get a respond.

But whatever it is, pray that we will guard our hearts and that may this convenience not cause relationships to break down.

Least we can do is to pray for them. Thank God that we are able to do that.

Ya, cause me still trying to figure out somethings on my new laptop. Trying my best not to load too many stuff, now I realise how important my laptop is to me for my work.

Another day at work

Thought of taking leave today to rest after a long night but can't cause got meeting. Now only me and 3 other people in the office, the rest who did their duty last night all resting at home now.

Well, at least I get to rest tomorrow. My turn!!! Ha Ha!!!

Thank God for another day.

Ya, typing all my posts today in office (because my laptop is down too) be I am on duty.

Pray that people will be safe on the road today, and tomorrow.

Actually should be everyday right?

Watch your tongue and guard your ears (and heart)

This week's sermon is a very very good reminder to all of us how we should use our tongues. Am not gonna repeat the sermon (you may wanna download) but just wanna share my thoughts regarding the issue related to tongue.

Thou the sermon is abt how we should watch our speech, it is at the same time reminding me not to be influenced by what other people say, especially those speeches that speak against others.

We all fall into the trap of judging others, Example when we hear A talking about Z not being a good person we might tend to agree and unknowingly it becomes a way of judging.

The whole point here is not about knowing whether that person is good or bad but it's a reflection of our hearts.

Think the right way of approuch is to pray for that person. Our agreeing and "see I was right before" kind of judgmental speech is no where near loving. For we all are sinners, saved by grace, thus we are no better than the people that wrong us or mistreat others.

We should pray for them. If they are really wrong, pray for God to have mercy on them. And if those who spoke against them are wrong, pray for them that they may humble their hearts and not be judgementle about others.

For all in all, be it the speaker or the person being spoken of, we should approuch the situation the way a Christain should, love and pray for them that God's word may dwell in their hearts so that they may respond rightly.

Dearest brothers and sisters in Christ, please pray more and dun judge others, please.

God please help us.

Goodbye after 3 and a half years

That's to my Fujitsu laptop. It's had officially served it's last term for me on Friday, 6th Feb.

Now I am on to my next laptop, very very much smaller. Pray that I can put it to good use. 1st and foremost no more Football Manager in it...

It's a war zone!!

It's confirm. For a moment Evelyn and myself thought that Amos' hearing might have a problem cause he dun respond to us when we call him. Then Eve asked me to sing the Pokoyo song and true enough, he turned his head and looked at me.

Thank God he's okay, really gave us a scare this morning.

Let's pray for Lionel, Yuling and baby Ethan

The old gang gathered at my house earlier for the long awaited meet up with Lionel, Yuling and baby Ethan (boy he's bigger than Amos when he was his age loh).

As I awaits Daniel to load the pics, please pray for them that they may settle in a small group when they go back to the States.

Really enjoyed the fellowship earlier.The dinner, singsperation, and the "Yu Sangless" lau yu seng with forks.
