Decisions and changes to come

Been thinking very hard the past few days on certain things and those are major decisions that might affect people around us.

Pray for Godly wisdom and that the decision for the change will be for the good of all and not affect others too much.

Let's continue to trust in the Lord for He is in control and He does provides for us all.

Thanks for being in our life.

We thank God for all of you for being part of our life all the way back from our dating time until now where we are about to become parents. It's really not an easy journey but we really thank God for all your prayers and encouragement all these years. Thanks for coming, we hope that all of you really had a good time.

Do remember to keep encouraging and pray for one another. And ya, our house will always be open for all of you our dearest brothers and sisters in Christ. Just give us a ring.

Praise the Lord once more for our fellowship at the "Dragon's Den"!!

Terence, Ann Ni and Chloe

Dear all. Ann Ni had just given birth to her doctor just now, 17th Jan, Thursday at around 3pm.

Thank God for the smooth delivery. Pray for their health and also pray that God will help both Terence and Ann Ni to be Godly parents.

So happy for the both... sorry, it's 3 of you!!!

Did you sing during your DG??

Thank God for the people who put together the songs in the DG handbook. We sang "Jesus shall take the highest honour" today. 4 times!!!! 2 at the start and 2 before we end.

Thank God for bringing people like Joseph, Raj, Nikki, Mei Xi, Yiling, Ming Koon and Xiao Xuan who came for the DG tonight. It's the fellowship with you guys, learning God's word together that ended my day on a high note. Was not actually feeling good, mood wise, before DG start. Praise the Lord for it's only thru Him that I can find comfort. Praise the Lord!!!

Praise the Lord for Beatrice and Alythea for serving in BASIC. Thou they might not always be with us, we thank God that their are growing and serving with the brothers and sisters at BASIC. They are still part of ShineForHim, forever will be sisters.

May I encourage all my brothers and sisters in Christ to sing songs of praises to our heavenly father in all our fellowship. It's really.... wonderful. Yes, that's how I would describe it. Don't feel shy for it's our God that we are singing to.

Jing Ming's treat.

Had a treat from Jing Ming tonight at a Steamboat place around Bugis. Like what Evelyn said, this could be the last time hanging out with you gals before Xiao Long comes.

Took leave today cause Evelyn not feeling. Doctor Lim say everything is fine. Dun think the baby will come out so soon. Still got 5 weeks to go. Pray that everything will be fine.

As we were leaving and about to reach the car park, I saw someone walking towards me and I was like "Looks familiar leh":


Haven't seem Nelson since the day he left. He was on his way to the nearby gym during lunch time. Really happy to see you man. Let's meet up one of these days.

1st Wedding of 2008. Congrats Ivy.

My Sec Sch classmate, Ivy, got married on the 10th of Jan 2008, Thursday. 1st wedding of the year. Had a great time and met up with a number of other class and schoolmates that I have never seen for a long time.

My 1st Weekend of the Year - Sun

- Very encouraged by Chris today. It's not gonna be easy but I will trust in the Lord to use me to do His work. Pray that I will always be reminded I belong to Him and not own by anyone else. Heed His calling!!!

- had a good chat with Gab before going to Grace's hse to help move her stuff. And ya, Nic got a knock on his head. It's not very bad but the whole BASIC gave me the impression like he lost it. Ha Ha!!

- Grace got Calvin and me to help her move her stuff to her parents' new flat and then to her friend's condo. The poor girl didn't sleep well last night and was stone the whole afternoon:

Every thing went on smoothly. Well almost I should say cause the guards at her friend's condo said no moving allowed during weekends and for a moment I thought we were gonna be struck and move everything back. Thank God we were fast enough to clear everything.

- Went to my in-laws house for dinner as Evelyn was with them while I help Grace to move her stuff. Not really tired but had to face my piles of file back at home. Need to clear them. Sian......


Thank God I managed to clear them quite fast. If not, where would I get the time to do my blog??? Have a good night everyone!!!

My 1st Weekend of the Year - Sat

- Brought Evelyn for doctor appoint. Thank God our baby is in position now. Most likely due on the 19th Feb. Looking forward to that day. Then rush Eve back to school cause she gonna do some planning.

- Reach EE late, only miss the 1st half where they pray and give thanks. In time to listen to Chris bringing us thru the 1st and 2nd study of Romans. Looking forward to DG again, but headache for a new venue between March to May.....

- Before leaving SBC, spotted Fang in SooSing's Green Beatle!!


Cool man. My dream car. I would like it yellow...



- Slept at home for awhile before picking up Evelyn to A&P's house for Govin and Betty's Surprise Farewell.


Their going to Cambodia for 3 months mission work. Known them thru BB ministry at Siling. Gonna miss them both. Pray them God may use them to fulfill His purposes at Cambodia and that they may come back safe and soon. We will miss you!!!!

Watch a very encouraging show at Albert and Pris' house, what's the name of it again Pris???

- Later in the evening, went to Jurong Point to get some stuff and had late dinner. Before leaving JP, went to GV to see wat are the shows that are showing now and to my surprise, I saw a giant posters of Jack Neo's latest new film and this is part of the poster that I took:

1st Week of 2008

Well it's the new year, and I know time flies so before you know it?? I might write a post titled "1st Week of 2009". Anyway, here's what happen for the 1st week:

New Year's Eve:
Kena duty for the year end countdown and was quite sian cause got to leave my wife. But turn out not so bad cause as I was doing my job, Li Fang was in a car that drove pass me. Quite surprise that people could still know it's me when I wore that helmet in the dark.

Wednesday Night is Movie night:
Brought Eve to watch "Alvin and the Chipmunks" on Wednesday night at JE Shaw cause I got free tickets. Very nice show.

Thursday night was MarkEr's night:

Food at Adam Road.


Ice cream at some where near by.


The "Free Ride" Experience.


Friday night? XBox 360 at Gab's hse:

Had XO Durians before the game!!


Well, can't play Winning Eleven so I tried to be a Rock Star.
