Saw JM and Al at the Chalet playing the guitar. Been dreaming of playing it myself. Still thinking should I learn. Can old man learn new talent???

Live and kicking

My boy kicked me last night.

Happen sometime after 2am. I was about to sleep so I tried feeling for him. Been trying to do so the past feww months but can't seem to feel him. People like Mar Mar, Jo-lyn and Gab can feel but I can't leh.

Last night was like I can feel the impact. 3 times. Pray that he will be healthy. Think all my brothers and sisters must also start to go for "baby handling" courses liao. He is coming!!!!!

Finally home after staying at Chalet L

At home after 3 days at the Chalet. Thank to my fellow DG brothers and sisters for coming all the way to the other end of Singapore to have fellowship. Gave Yiling a surprise for her Birthday.





Thank God for the wonderful time spend with the girls. Now, looking forward to Alex treat tomorrow.

For the girls......

While writing my entry today, Channel U showing S-Pop repeat and now the singer singing “一人一半”! Was at the Chalet L off Sealand Road where Evelyn organize for the BASIC girls. Talk to Jing Ming and Ashley abt the song and they were like “Dun know how to play the song loh”. So glad to hear it on TV.

Anyway, it’s wonderful to see that the girls are enjoying themselves. Fellowship over BBQ food, getting to know one another (the Pri 6 girls cross over from Children Church to BASIC) and playing Polar Bear (headed by Aaron, who is the special invited guest together with Luke and Jim, who came with his sister very very late. And also, Mar Mar was also here). But the game was short live, due to the showing of “Heros”. Thought I was the only one crazy about it.

Was really fun playing card game with J, A, Clare and Han Mei. Think coming to chalet during end of the year has always been something that I enjoy. Never knew how I miss it till I come.

Oh ya, did I mention that we celebrated Yi Ling’s birthday also? Happy birthday Yi Ling, anyone know how old is she??

BGB Combine Camp 2007

Thank God for the camp that the boys and girls of Woodlands were able to learn and hear God's word on the weekend.

Many things to give thanks to: the church helpers that never serve in BGB before. Feedback was that it's not really that tough. And really glad to see a helper that came from another church. He came cause he was invited by one of the camp committee to help. Praise the Lord.

Camp this is one of the best I have ever attended before cause this camp unlike the usual ones where there's a lot of bible studies and workshops, this camp is very activity based. And that is thru out the 3 days. Of course we dun only play, it's thru these activities that we are able to strike conversations with the boys and girls.

Cut the story short, the camp used something that is able to capture their attention, of their liking and thus making them more open to the helpers when it comes to devotion.

Really thank God that He had put in place a committee that comes out with this idea to reach out to the boys and girls cause teens at this stage their attention spent is less than 15 min.

Think at times when we are doing the best job in the world, we tend to think one way works for all. This camp really reminded me that this is a other people centered ministry. Share the truth, yet using many different avenues for others. Think this applies in the various ministries, DGs and our daily conversations with others that we have to be ever sensitive to others in the way we relate to than, yet not changing the truth.

Theme of the camp is circle of life. Teaching teens thru the games the decision we made in life are very important and that a wrong decision will lead to deadly consequence. Knowing at their age death never come across their mind. But pray that with the precious time that our fellow brothers and sisters had spent with them will one day lead them to the truth. Praise the Lord for His work in Woodlands.

Maybe next time

I am the type that thinks a lot and sometime find it hard to pen down. My wedding and Daniel wedding, had mentioned that I gonna write them down so that years later I can relive the moment.

Just that there are too many things to right, kind of lazy. Think I will do it next time. Hee Hee, maybe I might never do it. But those wonderful moment will always remind in my heart.

What happen in the last 2 weeks

Hi, a little back dated. Hope that it's okay, actually writing this so that in the years to come when I read it I will remember wat happen during this period of my life. Better write them before I forget them....

3rd Nov, Saturday:
Help Daniel to send some wedding stuff to Cherry's hse. The highlight?? That BIG roasted pig leg!!!!





Well, as you can see, what happen to the leg that Cherry mum pass to Daniel.... WE ATE IT!!!! (together with Daniel and Wilson)

5th to 8th Nov, Mon to Thur:
The last few days before my campaign start. Only one word to describe: BUSY!!! Had to stayed over night at the park on Wed and Thur night to look after the stuffs that were in the park. My poor wife had to be without her dearest husband for 2 nights.

8th Nov, Thursday Evening:
Well, there's still a little time to relax. Went to Daniel and Cherry hse cause Evelyn went to Cherry's "Hen's" afternoon and I gonna pick her up. Thank God I am able to fellowship with them to take my mind off from work for awhile.

9th Nov, Friday:
Campaign Day!!! That God everything went on smoothly and it didn't rain!! Evelyn brought her Dare children from her school to perform. Wonderful dance from the kids.


And there's a special guest appearance at the campaign too.

11th Nov, Sun:
Venue: Daniel and Cherry's Hse.
Event: Daniel's Night
Well, being the bestman, it's my duty to organise something for the Groom to be. But due to my work, I am unable to do so.Until Daniel reminded me on Saturday night:
"Hi, waiting for you lah"

So out of love, all it took me was just last than 5 mins to come out with an idea for him.

The theme: Use a food to describe your relationship with Daniel. Here's how it works. Every guy is suppose to bring a food(some brought drinks and snacks) for Daniel. Explain how the food represent their relationship and Daniel is suppose to eat them!!! Well, you get the picture. The idea was just for him to eat, Ha Ha!!!

Things that were brought: Red Wine, White Wine, Tiger Beer, Chili Crab Wrap, Wasabei Susi, chicken rice, chocolate, Anything and Whatever soft drinks, lime for Hokkien Mee and still got some others maybe Daniel you can fill up for me???

He managed to finish everything, well almost everything. Had a great time, well at least for me. Lucky for Daniel he only need to go thru this once in a life time man.

Daniel and Cherry, married on the 17 of Nov 2007

Ya, they are married. Thank God for blessing them and they are finally together. Am the best man cum wedding dinner Emcee for them. You may not see it from my writings but I am SUPPER HAPPY for them.

Still very tired after their wedding. Think the closest person that share my tiredness is Yew Minh, whom also like me slept at 0430 hrs before the wedding day. Well done Yew Minh.

So too tired to write wat happen, but will be able to do so since I will be on course the next two days.

Ya!! My brother finally got married liao!!!

It's over!!!!

It's been 11 days since I update my blog. The campaign is finally over!

Thou it ended last Friday, it took me a few days to come back to the keyboard cause it's been quite scary for me to "touch" the keyboard last week...

Many things to give thanks to, people especially. Most importantly have to thank God that everything goes on smoothly.

The past 11 days were not only about campaign, there were also some happening stuffs going on. Will be loading more pics to share with all of you. Thanks for your prayers.

The week has ended, but not my work...

As usual, Friday night I would be at SIM waiting for Evelyn to finish her study. Finally the week has ended. Didn't really sleep well the past few days and people usually will look forward to more sleep during weekends. Not me, at least not this week.

Tomorrow early morning need to help Daniel to bring some wedding stuff to Cherry hse and I have to go to the Road Safety Community Park to open the gate for the contractors to do their work for the coming campaign next Friday. Think I am gonna stay out most of time.

Thank God that I wouldn't have to go thru this every week.
