A working Saturday

Will be involved in a campaign tomorrow at BBDC. Things dun seems to be going smooth, but I believed that's things will turn out fine. Just pray that it dun rain.

Oh, did I mentioned that Eve will be alone for the whole day?? My poor wife....

Went to Joe and Lit Lam Hse just now to get the sofa bed(from Joe) and the coffee table and office chair(from Lit Lam). Thanks guys, these items really add some life into my hse.

Of course got to mention the help that came along. Thank Li Chuan, who happens to be there. Thanks for bring down the 2 orange cushions, Ha Ha!!

Gab, though my request was quite sudden you were still able to help out. Thanks for taking the chair out of the lift, if not the people at level 8 would have taken it, Ha Ha!! (think only the 3 of us know wat I talking abt)

Last but not least, my Bestman Wilson. If not for your lorry, tonight will not be possible. Hope that our bowling session can be confirm soon.

Update on what I did on Saturday, 25th Aug

Brought Eve to see the doctor in the morning. Everything fine, will visit the doctor in 3 weeks time. But still dun know boy or girl yet. But mummy, 3 aunt and the cousins who were there seems excited, maybe except for Alvin.

Brought Eve to Li Chuan's hse for BASIC CLDG and I did my own study. Had a mini celebration for the AUG baby. Look up for my facebook for the action!!!

Went KTV with some brothers and sisters. Thank to Daniel, Cherry and Mar Mar for getting the cake for Eve. Great to have you back with us Alex. Must sing "愛如潮水" again next time, truly enjoyed it. Thanks for bringing Jay (did I spell correctly??) hope to see him around more often.

Had great fun and went for a short supper. Lesson learn, never pour "HOT" water into the drain, especially near the hawker centre. If not "Xiao Qiang" will come out and play. At least now I know Mar Mar is a very brave women, Ha Ha.

Shine & Rain Thursday

Bright and sunny day, than starts to rain in the night. One can never tell what would be the weather next. But thank God for the time I have to go for CLDG, very encouraged. Surely more clearer compared to study 4.

Looking forward to Saturday, for those who know what I mean.... SEE YOU THERE!!!!!

2 Years have Pass......

Today is the 1st time after so long that almost everyone come for DG (other than Evelyn who needs to rush her paper and Alythea is super tired and need to rest). You know what?? "Shine For Him" (the DG I am in) is 2 years old!!!!!

Our DG started out as a JFN group during Aug in 2005. How time flies!!! Thou people come and go, we are still a family in Christ's name. Pray that the fellowship will carry on as the times goes by.

Think we should have a gathering for everyone one of these days. How time flies......

Ya, did I mentioned that we squeeze inside Yuk Yee office today?? Eleven person in the small office, still can have 2 more person. Hope that we can squeeze like this every Wednesday.

Back to the good old days....

Had a house warming for some of my closest Sec Sch days friends, some with their partners, just hours ago.



Thanks guys for coming. Sorry if my cooking isn't really nice, hope for improvement in the future.

Played my wedding videos to show them the actions they missed, hope that it will not add pressure to those who are gonna get married soon. Hee Hee.

Really had a great time guys, you dun often get to meet friends you have known for 10 over years. Hope to have more such session in the future.

This afternoon I am at home

Took half day leave in the afternoon cause Eve also worked half day today. Thou I got a lot of work to do, come to think that she dun get a lots of off so I might as well take my afternoon off.

Felt better after DG last night. Think humans are just like that, one moment you are down and felt lousy, the next you are recharged and confident. Well guess for me, I am reminded by the guys who came and of course God's word on how He has redeemed us and forgives us even when we were still His enemies.

Really thank Him for all the troubles and worries that I am facing now, these goes to show how much I need Him in my daily live.

Was chatting with a friend just now and sharing about things and definitely felt great today and didn't feel burden at all, maybe that why I felt the importance to take time off from work to spend time with my wife. It's important to find a good chat mate, Ha Ha.

Pray I can continue to trust in the Lord in whatever I do.

Tired and a bit down

To say that I am not troubled I will say I am lying. Nothing serious happen in my life, just that it's a long time I felt tired and a bit low in morale. Sometime we people go thru such phases but it's great that I can always find strength in the Lord. Still think I need a lot more sleep and some activities to boast my morale.

What makes a Wedding Dinner

What makes a Wedding Dinner?

The venue? The food? The service? Or the Feeling??

Having been to quite a few weddings before, some of the above are the things that people look for. And over the years as Singapore's standard of living increases, the price also increases. Of course the more you pay you would expect more from than.

To cut things short, my whole point is though the it's important to note on the price and whether one like the place a not, it is still the people/guests who come for the dinner makes the difference.

Just came back from Danny and Audrey's wedding dinner. Just wanna share that it's a wonderful and great experience. Really thank God for bringing them together and it is also because of Him that we all can be part of their lives. The Hotel is good, food is great and the service is wonderful too. But the most beautiful thing is we as brothers and sisters in Christ coming together to celebrate their marriage.

This is what wedding is all about, people you love being part of it. Really enjoyed the "YUM SENG" at table 44. Thanks Danny and Audrey. Of course not forgetting the oldies PUNJers that were there, you guys were great!!

So excited, finally the day has come for the both of them to be husband and wife. Thank God for bringing them together. Can't wait to see them in action!!

1st NDP after married

Open our hse to the DG members on National Day 2007. Only a handful turn up due to some last min appointment.

Had a great time with Paul, Xuiling and Mei Xi. Hope that you guys like my cooking.

Yiling managed to come in time for DG. Hope that we will have more chance in the future to gather at our hse.

Well pray for you guys. And yes April you are right, we have changed over the years. Though it's not easy but with God's help, all things is possible.

Happy Birthday Hui Ling

Suppose to meet Hui Ling at her hse to run thru the emcee script for Danny and Audrey's wedding this coming Saturday. So happen that it's was her birthday, 6th of Aug!!! So we met at Joe's hse instead. Had prayer meeting with the BB officer of Si Ling before that.

Got to Joe's hse around 10pm. Can see Jodie was very excited to cut the cake.

We Cook Tonight!!!

Eve and me cook tonight after a long day (She went school for duty in the Morning till Noon, Me at BB Care for the whole Morning, She attend Clob at Church Office in the afternoon while I wait for her)


The food is normal, nothing fantastic. But we really enjoy the time we spend cooking together.

BB Care 2007

Back to BB after a 3 month break for my Wedding, can't tell you how much I miss them. It's really great to see the boys taking care of the elderly, a sign of them growing up. Didn't take many photos cause Daniel is the photographer.

Both Daniel and me were in Bus One. He the bus IC/Song leader while I am the half past Six Tour Guide. Imagine yourself in my position, how you say Plaza Singapura in Mandarin or Hokkien. Tough leh. Took them on a city tour and we sang Christian songs along the way, in English!!! Next year must learn to sing in their dialect, must train the boys. Even the Nayang Pri GB can sing better than our boys.


Sherman came to help out. Thanks brother, it's wonderful for you to come.

And of course how to end a event without food.

It's "Fruits Day" today at my workplace. They gave us apples. Wonder will it be durains next time? Hmm......
