Glorya's married!! Ya!!!

Happen to surf Facebook and saw her wedding pics. She just got married on the 21st Feb, last Sat.

We actually planned to go over for her big day but decided not to due to the financial constraint. Thou I am sad that I can't be there but I thank God for her union with Alan. It's seems like yesterday when we just went out for a durian feast and exchanging greeting (yes, just one.) with each other.

Pray that God will always be at the centre if their marriage, all the days of their lives.

My boy is 1 today

Ya, he is officially one year old today. Evelyn just found out that he got 3 teeth coming, 2 below and one on top.

Let God be 1st in your heart, not your work

Was at the Woodlands Checkpoint this morning to give out road safety leaflets to the riders entering to Singapore. One thing in common I see from them is their focus to get to their work place.

The stress and tired faces, rushing off after clearing the checks. Reminds me of what Chris shared yesterday regarding us starting our day with God. How many times did we justify our self-centered actions that because of our work we got no time for God, quiet time, or even spend very little time and that's okay? Surely not!!

Most of us when we wake up, 1st thing come to our mind is the thought of work and no time to even thank God for the day.

I am humbled that I should face each day with joy for the Lord has given it to us for His good purpose.

Pray that I can start my everyday praising God and approach it with a joyful heart.

When is the best time to drive

3.40AM. The whole PIE was clear. I can drive at 90km/hr and not brake or slow down at all. Too bad I wouldn't be driving at that time most of the time.

Amos has a mind of his own liao.

Just one day short of his birthday and I can't believe it's been a year.

How he has grown. From a baby who just laying in my arms quietly to a bigger baby that's can never stop moving!!!!

Today he had knock his head, not very serious thou, a few times and mind you he still hasn't learn how to walk yet.

Thank God for watching over him. Praise the Lord for everything.

Looking forward to teach him God's word after hearing the pastors shared their experiences this afternoon. Can't wait for him to talk man!!

My past has found me

Some people dun fancy facebook but to me it's a tool to link up with long lost friends.

My NS buddy Johnny found me!!! And thru him I found many others from my NS days!!!!

How time flies man. My be next up will be my primary school friends, hahahaha!!!

How would I plan my life if I have "X" number of days left.

Watched "The Bucket List" yesterday and one of the scene caught my attention. It shows the actors knew they had at most a year left to live thus started to wonder what are the things they can do, things they wanted most to do before they pass on. The Bucket List.

What's my bucket list? How have I plan my life? For I know who holds my life and where the One who holds me will lead me to. So plan with Him at the heart of everything.

I pray that when the time comes, and that is if it comes, that I know I have "X" number of days left I hope I would not have wasted my life.

I pray that you too may plan your life with Him at the heart of it, don't wait till it's too late.

Rare moments of peace I have in the night

Amos slept around 11 plus last night so I managed to help sometime to myself, listening to Andy Lau's cantonese CD and reading a book (Evelyn is doing her assignment).

Thank God for time that I can have a pit stop.

Btw, Evelyn said Amos laughing and clapping in his sleep last night. Maybe he dreamt about his 1st birthday party....

Where there is a need, there we should be

Sometimes I wonder the things I do is it right?

Somethings start with the good intentions but might end up with a total different outcome or respond. But all in all, He's in control.

Was telling Evelyn reason why I decided to go ahead is because there's simply just not reason to say no.

Where there is a need, there we should be.

If it's His will, let it be done.

Thanks for loving Amos for the past year

Thou as much as both Eve and myself want to, we can't invite everyone that we know to his very 1st birthday party at our house earlier due to the size of our house.

Really thank those of you who had help out, came for the party and all who had showered Amos with love in his 1st year on earth.

Please continue to pray for us as a family that we will always seek God 1st in all the things we do, cause we know the road ahead will get tougher as Amos starts to grow bigger and understand things .

And also pray for us that the 3 of us will be able to walk firmly in the footsteps of Christ as a family.

Thank you everyone, thank you God for everything.
