How do you want to be remembered?

Which of your accomplishments cause others to want to emulate you?

All of the people listed in the "Hall of Faith" in Hebrews 11 were commended for their faith. Their faith was revealed by their response to times of great difficulty. Men and women of faith do not live trouble-free lives, they live by faith in the midst of troubling times and circumstances.

Where is God calling you to live by faith today? How will your life of faith influence others to live by faith?

Prayer

God, I want my response to difficulties to reflect my faith in You.

Let my life be a testimony to Your faithfulness, an encouragement to others to trust You, and an example for others to follow.

I want to be remembered as someone who lived by faith. Amen.

This is the day, 1 year ago, that she came

Xiao Hui is One today. Praise the Lord for watching over her.

Thanks to all of you who has been praying for her before she was born and all who have showered her with love the past 12 months.

We held her birthday party last Sunday. It means a lot to us to see so many of you there.

Keep praying for us to be Godly parents and to teach her the way of the Lord of the days of her life.

Birthday at West Coast Park

We had fun today at West Coast Park. Celebrated Amos’ 3rd birthday, although it was 3 days early.

The Eve packed meal, time with my family, Amos enjoying his time on the Pedal-Go-Kart. Exhausted at the end of it but truly enjoyed it.








Thank God for the great 3 years. I am already missing the Amos of the past 3 years but I am looking forward to meet the Amos of the future.

30 years and counting

Thanks to all for the SMSes, facebook messages, phone calls and people who gave me a surprise birthday party at my place.

For someone whose job is to create surprises, it doesn't really come as a surprise to me on this special day. BUT.. I'm really touched by everyone's effort to celebrate for me. Thanks.

Although it's my big thirty, the main thing I am very thankful for is that God had watched over Evelyn and she is still by my side.

I also thank God for all of you who had journeyed with me all these years.

I'm looking forward to the many years to come and another wonderful session of "Guitar Hero". Hopefully they will have a Mandarin version by then.

Looking forward to Toy Story 3!!!

After reading this post, I am looking forward to see this in June.

So fast, another year has past. But he still can't talk yet. Maybe he's like me, his first words will be Mei Mei?

Think the best gift for him now is to recover from fever, flu and sore throat.

Happy Birthday Daniel, the 30 man.

Yes. It's on the 24 Oct, last Sat. sorry for the late post because I have been busy lately.

From a little remark from Cherry that he will be the brother of Ang Cai's wedding to the big surprise birthday party for him at room 3270.

Praise the Lord for watching over Daniel and using him for the advancement of His kingdom.

Pray that Daniel will continue to walk closely with God for the rest of his . Looking forward to his 60th birthday liao.

Ya, he is officially one year old today. Evelyn just found out that he got 3 teeth coming, 2 below and one on top.

Amos has a mind of his own liao.

Just one day short of his birthday and I can't believe it's been a year.

How he has grown. From a baby who just laying in my arms quietly to a bigger baby that's can never stop moving!!!!

Today he had knock his head, not very serious thou, a few times and mind you he still hasn't learn how to walk yet.

Thank God for watching over him. Praise the Lord for everything.

Looking forward to teach him God's word after hearing the pastors shared their experiences this afternoon. Can't wait for him to talk man!!

Thanks for loving Amos for the past year

Thou as much as both Eve and myself want to, we can't invite everyone that we know to his very 1st birthday party at our house earlier due to the size of our house.

Really thank those of you who had help out, came for the party and all who had showered Amos with love in his 1st year on earth.

Please continue to pray for us as a family that we will always seek God 1st in all the things we do, cause we know the road ahead will get tougher as Amos starts to grow bigger and understand things .

And also pray for us that the 3 of us will be able to walk firmly in the footsteps of Christ as a family.

My mum's birthday

24th Oct is my mother's birthday. I am very bad at dates, thank God I have a sister who always remember these things.

Went to the coffee shop at Bukit Batok to eat the "cook fry", each dish cost only $4.80!!! Of cost the portion is small, which can order many many types of dishes.

Evelyn wasn't cause she had class at SIM, by that I mean she is the student not teaching there in case you wonder.

After dinner took my family out, less my father cause he wanna rest(woke up at 5am for work everyday), for a ride to KPE. Mother called dad and he was like "How can I miss it!!". Ah mei mentioned that when we were young, father always brought us around in his big bus and travel on new roads.

Had ice-cream at Island Creamery and ate different types of flavors. Always went there with the Post PUNJ, guess should not forget to bring our own family members to enjoy good ice-cream. But mother mentioned that it's too sweet, but how many ice-cream are not sweet anyway??

Update on what I did on Saturday, 25th Aug

Brought Eve to see the doctor in the morning. Everything fine, will visit the doctor in 3 weeks time. But still dun know boy or girl yet. But mummy, 3 aunt and the cousins who were there seems excited, maybe except for Alvin.

Brought Eve to Li Chuan's hse for BASIC CLDG and I did my own study. Had a mini celebration for the AUG baby. Look up for my facebook for the action!!!

Went KTV with some brothers and sisters. Thank to Daniel, Cherry and Mar Mar for getting the cake for Eve. Great to have you back with us Alex. Must sing "愛如潮水" again next time, truly enjoyed it. Thanks for bringing Jay (did I spell correctly??) hope to see him around more often.

Had great fun and went for a short supper. Lesson learn, never pour "HOT" water into the drain, especially near the hawker centre. If not "Xiao Qiang" will come out and play. At least now I know Mar Mar is a very brave women, Ha Ha.

Happy Birthday Hui Ling

Suppose to meet Hui Ling at her hse to run thru the emcee script for Danny and Audrey's wedding this coming Saturday. So happen that it's was her birthday, 6th of Aug!!! So we met at Joe's hse instead. Had prayer meeting with the BB officer of Si Ling before that.

Got to Joe's hse around 10pm. Can see Jodie was very excited to cut the cake.
