Working Saturday

After last Saturday's BBDC Ride Safe 2010, hopefully this Saturday's Family Day will be the last working Saturday I will have.

The good thing abt the Family Day is that we are going to spend time at the Universal Studio.

But then again, I have got a talk on Sunday....

Refresh needed daily

I am so happy that the campaign ended yesterday. Usually now is the time to tell myself "job well done" and "take a good rest" but in actual fact I am into planning for the next one so not much time to really rest.

Unknowingly we are in such a cycle our whole life, just that we love the cycle of enjoyment & holiday over work & assignments.

All in all I am reminded that every moment of our lives we need God to refresh us. When we enjoy the world too much we may forget God. When we are stress out and got tired of the things we do we may not remember to praise God.

Thank God for He is who He is. Be close to Him to refresh yourself that you will not forget who He is. Praise be to our Lord.

Mother of 3

As I was taking LRT home just now I saw a mother of 3 taking the train with me.

The eldest daughter about 5, the 2nd son in the pram about 2 and another son around 6 months old in a sling.

I am impressed!!! Sadly I over heard that her husband is overseas.

Mothers are great!

Pray for strength and health for a 18 hrs Weekend Job

Just finished a Road Safety Campaign for Children on Friday, I stayed over and RSCP on Thursday night to secure the car park. And in a few hours time gonna be reporting for duty for a rehearsal for a major event coming in Nov.

Will be scheduled to work from 8AM to around 2AM on Saturday. Pray for strength as it's no joke to be on the road for so long. Not sure how are they going to plan out our rest time.

Now I am already looking forward to going for Sunday service. See you then.

OT is a norm nowadays but the thing is people should not always be doing overtime. Of course there will be times where you really need to but in the end it's really a wisdom issue.

Was chatting with cake today and suddenly I came out with this:

"You are Christian full time. Get out of the world when the time is up."

It's so funny that on one hand we dun want to be controlled by the world but on the other maybe it is us that refuse to give time to God.

God should be the only one we deserve our OT, not the world.

Pray that our mindset will change. Pray for good time management.

Look wrong

I left house early today and managed to reach office on time. But something happen while I am on the bus.

Was listening to the podcast on a sermon and one of the things mentioned is "You can do right and look wrong". Remember that?

As I hop onto the bus I was thinking "well, not bad. today I can be on time at work." Then as I was in half stoning mode and mainly listening to the sermon, the bus captain suddenly said "hello!" to me. As I looked at him, I suddenly realised that I forgot to tap my EZlink card!!!!

I quickly apologised and tap my card. I have no intention to cheat the bus fare but I am certain because of the stoning and listening to the sermon I some how forgot to pay the fare.

Look wrong, ya I can kind of understand.

Be Safe On The Road

The nature of my work requires me to promote road safety. It's very common that people take things lightly when it comes to driving, riding and crossing the road. Mainly people have the idea that as long as long as they don't get caught by police it should be okay and even if kena caught just pay the fine loh.

Most people dun realise that when one is not careful or becomes too complacent, he or she might not be able to face the consequences.

One of the NS boy from my work place was killed in a fatal road accident early this Morning. In short, please dun wait till when it's too late then one starts to regret and hopes that he or she can take a step back to start all over again.

Be responsible to not only yourselves but you love ones.

Be safe, stay alive.

Wax in ear

Got MC yesterday. Sunday was hit on my right side of the head by Danny's shot during the football session. Evelyn told me to go for a check.

Esther say my ear should be fine but can see my ear drum course got wax in the ear.

No wonder my right ear doesn't seems to hear as clearly as my left.

Wonderful work place

My bosses and colleagues has been very understanding during this period.

It's really difficult to kick start my engine to focus on work. Pray that I will put up along the way.
Pray for Evelyn as she is physically not stable yet, not able to step out of the house.

HA HA!! HA HA HA HA!!!!

Why? I am trying to keep a cheerful heart in facing the reality of many many work!!!!

Very tempted to work overtime the next few days but I know I can't put myself to do it (me where got so hard working wan.)

But will very likely to bring things home to do or I really don't know how lah.

Pray for all of us even as our work demand increases our time with God and service for others will not decrease.

It's hard but possible, with God's help.

Break from Campaign

Just finished a campaign on Saturday. Now sitting in the office thinking should I take leave tomorrow. Think I might need to rest some more to recover.

Made some online booking for a movie session this Friday night and not sure if one of it went thru anot. Because while in the process of the confirmation, Amos had a hands on with the laptop.

Now it's either we have just enough tickets or we have to look for 7 more person.

Sign of getting old

It takes me almost 2 weeks to get better. My body seems to be taking longer time to recover for illness. And a lot of sleep as well.

Well, finally Manchester United had agreed to a world record bid for him. Not really sad but am actually quite happy cause for those who know about his transfer saga, he had never really wanna stay.

Thought that with that amount of money, United can invest on other players. I like a commentator say when Man United won the Premier League this season that why Manchester United is different from other clubs in BPL.

Sky Sports show a recording of, surprise surprise, Ronaldo interviewing Anderson and the it was so funny. It shows the team spirit of United.

Although currently United have given the green light for Real to speak to CR and it has not been confirm yet, I am sure it's a done deal.

Hope that he goes on to play well.

No one is bigger than the club.
